To the friends and family of Lee....my condolences, to you all. I know the pain and grief you are living with, only too well, as my son also was found hanging in his cell in Brixton after only being in there for approx 18 hours. My heart goes out to you all. Maybe we can meet at the Rememberance Procession Oct 25th Trafalagar Square? Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers, Gina Webb, Wesley McGoldricks mother.
Going round in circles 'miracles' do they happen? going away, wish I could stay, I pray I may...??!

So sorry to read of your loss.
I pray that you will find comfort in the love of his children, and hopefully some form of justice from the system that broke him down.
One Love,
Bernie & Family

Hi Sally-Anne and family. I just wanted to say what a pleasure it has been assisting you to get this website established. In doing this work we have become so familiar with Lee's tragic case and loss. And just wish you success with the project that you are establishing in his name. Best wishes, Tippa & the 4WardEver crew.(Posted on 2007-08-28 22:06:00 by )
"The disbelief of losing my son will always be there, as I have never been told anything realistic. "I am expected to believe that my son took his own life, In a young offenders institute.. between 8.20-8.40pm in a shared cell...!???
I feel Lee recieved 'the death penalty'...!
His crime...
stealing three bottles of shampoo!
"To say I was unhappy and disappointed by the police investigation is an understatement.
"I made a formal complaint against the police. Which the police considered to be unsubstantiated. I made 14 allegations,
of which they upheld only 2!
I later appealed to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) who upheld my complaint.
"The inquest took place on 15th January 2007. It was listed for five days but lasted just four days "The jury verdict was given under direction by the coroner; the short form would be 'accidental!' "
